Tim J. Taylor - President and CEO
Born and educated in the United Kingdom, Tim J. Taylor graduated with an Honors Degree in Business Administration and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
Tim started his career as a cost and management accountant with GKN (Major worldwide engineering company) and then in 1977 went international with a British based Oil field services company where he held various positions in Algeria, Venezuela, Brazil and Hong Kong and the Far East before coming to the United States in 1980. From 1985 to 1995, Tim was involved in managing the Savings and Loan crisis holding the Regional Financial Officer position for both the FSLIC and then subsequently the RTC - handling in excess of $20 billion in assets.
In 1996, Tim joined the newly formed Consumer Plumbing Recovery Center (CPRC) as Director of Finance and Administration and subsequently assumed the position of General Manager in 1998.
The Polybutylene class action case has now closed and Tim now heads up the newly formed Total Class Solutions LLC - providing claims administration services in predominantly construction default cases.
Kathy Chenoweth - Director of Claims Services
Kathy is a senior claims manager with over 18 years experience as an administrator working with class actions. Kathy joined the Plano class action claims facility in 1991, where she was instrumental in setting up claims handling for the PCG which handled PB claims on a voluntary basis, and the CPRC which handled the billion dollar Cox class action settlement on polybutylene. Through the years Kathy has redefined those processes to insure claims were being handled with maximum efficiencies.
Kathy has managed numerous aspects of the claims operations including a large call center, customer service, interior and yard claims departments. She has acted as the liaison with a national third party inspection firm. Kathy was also involved in all aspects of the replumbing process of the program, working closely with the two national plumbing consultants, contractors and homeowners. She handled all compliance inspections and contractor allocations for the yard service portion of the program.
Kathy is currently Director of Claims Services for Total Class Solutions.
Darrel Cash - Director of Accounting & Financial Services
Darrel has over 20 years experience in the accounting profession and joined CPRC in 1996. As controller of the organization, he supervised all financial aspects of this claims administration entity including accounting, treasury management and reporting. In addition he worked with a Big Four Accounting firm as it related to the organization's audit and tax responsibilities, and based upon his standards for accounting and his professionalism, since CPRC's inception in 1996, the organization received a clean opinion each year.
Darrel has an MBA in Business and is a member of the National Society of Accountants (NSA) and is now the Director of Accounting and Financial Services for Total Class Solutions.
Roger Young - Director of Information Systems
Roger is a degreed professional and has over 18 years of experience in Information Technology. He was at the PCG/CPRC since 1994 and was involved in all aspects of the polybutylene database including its original development. Over the years, Roger has worked in different areas including application, database, and web development. His knowledge and expertise make available the necessary skills needed to provide support for and development of the systems at Total Class Solutions.
Patti O'Connor - Director of Administrative Services
Patti is responsible for HR related issues, payroll, purchasing, and serves as the Office Manager. In this capacity, she has handled the office reorganization and site construction over the past 15 years. She is comfortable handling all types of telephone calls from homeowners, plumbing contractors, and real estate agents to employment verification. Patti understands how the company operates and is extremely comfortable making executive decisions.
As Total Class Solutions has grown, Patti has assumed additional responsibilities in claims handling with homeowners and plumbing contractors as well as all payment processing for the class.
Kenneth Hageman - Chief Compliance Officer
With over 35 years of plumbing experience in mobile homes, single family and multi family units, and with 25+ years in a Management/Consultant role on private, commercial and government contract projects, Ken brings to the table a wide range of professional, technical and hands on experience gained from major organizations such as Tempo Mechanical and the CPRC. For 12 years at the CPRC, Ken shared responsibilities with one other Consultant for the whole of the United States - advising and directing plumbing contractors, working with Homeowners, and monitoring and enforcing quality control for the $1.1 billion Polybutylene Class Action.
Ken has held both Master Plumber and Journeyman licenses in multiple states. Ken joined Total Class Solutions in November, 2009.
